On 8/6/11 until approximately 6pm a Beaverton van was operating with the warning sign closer than the prescribed 100 yards. We have taken pictures, measurements and documented all of this. If you received a citation on this day and time this will help prove that the van was not in compliance.

Even after the heart-felt letter by the Mayor several weeks ago, he sides with those wanting to continue photo radar in Milwaukie. Yes, the city council has voted to approve a 3 year, $300,000 contract with ACS.
Mayor Jeremy Ferguson of Milwaukie published an open letter to area citizens expressing his thought on Photo Radar.
I would say he has put a lot of thought into this matter and is genuinely concerned about Milwaukie’s safety and the image of the city. Here’s the letter as it appears in the Clackamas Review:
