Here is the warning sign for a Beaverton Van that is lower than 2 feet from the ground. This was taken on Dec 18, 2010 at 12:28 PM on Canyon Road just after 87th Ave. The van was parked in the ODOT work area just up the road.
This posted sign is in violation of ORS 810.438.2.e. (C) “At least two feet above ground level”
I don’t think this was intentional; it was very windy that day; and these new warning signs are like sails! The officer on duty should still make sure that their equipment is in compliance with the ordinances.
