Photo Radar lives on in Milwaukie

On Feb. 1st the Milwaukie city council voted to renew their contract with ACS for photo speed enforcement. In operation since 2008 the photo radar van will be around for a few more years. Stated in an article on Oregon Live by Bobby Allyn, Councilor David Hedges says that 95% of residents support photo radar. Really?! Who is he talking to? I don’t think I could get 9 out of 10 people  to agree on much of anything, especially photo radar. Wait, I guess if the 10 people worked at ACS, that might be possible.

Well, it looks like photo radar is here to stay; unless the people decide to start an initiative to remove it from the State. There have been a few states that have done it, why not us?
